IUM took part in the EFMD Global Virtual Fairs by Highered, as part of an exclusive network of top schools across the globe.
The virtual fairs replicate a sophisticated job fair simulation environment that enables students to have real-time interaction, including one-to-one live chat with recruiters from leading companies and organizations, as well as video chat when enabled by certain recruiters.
The EFMD Global Virtual Fairs was open to both students and alumni, and took place over the course of five days, from April 19-23.
The event featured multiple sectors, profiles, and geographic-specific fairs all on a single platform in a pavilion-style format.
We decided to give our student the opportunity to join an international virtual fair with over 200 companies in order to maxime their chances to find an internship or a junior position. This is a great opportunity for them to live chat with recruiters globally, interact, connect and network outside of Monaco

What was there for our students?
This was a great chance to introduce themselves to potential employers, met with the recruiters, and started applying to their opportunities, both local and international.
They could:
Visited the virtual booth of the companies/organizations
- Attended live webinars/presentations organized by companies/organizations
- Participated in Live chat and interview with recruiters
- Pitched their profile to recruiters as part of the “Pitch Perfect Challenge
Each day they also had the opportunity to participate in networking sessions, live CV Clinics, and the online Digital Conference with leading Careers speakers.
