The IUM Career Center is dedicated to helping Bachelor and MSc students navigate their career paths by providing comprehensive support for internships and job placements. We offer personalized guidance to ensure a smooth transition from academia to the professional world.

Our experienced career counselors assist students in building a strong personal brand and developing effective self-marketing strategies. Additionally, each program integrates diverse internship opportunities, made possible through our partnerships with a wide network of prestigious companies.

How we prepare IUM students for the job market

Career Counselling

Guided by a team of counselors, students will complete a self-orientation and establish a closer connection between their aptitudes and professional projects.

In class Career Seminar

Operational managers and HR managers present their company and their opportunities for fresh graduates.

Setting Career Goal Objectives

Students are required to attend an interview to assess their motivations and personalize the search based on their career goals.

Self Selling Techniques

Counselors deliver practical support in preparing students “Branding” and “Self-Selling Strategy.”

Up to 3 internship opportunities

During each program, students have three internship opportunities.

Business Conferences

Every year, IUM students can participate in several conferences getting in contact with companies and international organizations to better understand the functional areas, career paths, and the job market trends.

Business Plan Competitions

Business plan competitions allow our students to apply the knowledge they acquire in class to real-world challenges, connecting them with alumni, academic professionals, and business leaders from all over the world.

CAREER WEEK

The CAREER WEEK  at the International University of Monaco is an exclusive career event designed to connect students with leading recruiters in search of talented interns and full-time hires. This unique opportunity allows students to engage directly with industry professionals, explore career prospects, and gain valuable insights into competitive sectors.

VISAS AND LEGAL REGULATIONS FOR INTERNSHIPS

  • MONACO: All IUM students can intern in Monaco as long as they are under 27 years old. Non-EU students need to have a valid visitor visa and address in the region.
  • FRANCE: Non-EU students can do an internship in France with their visitor visa as long as it is still valid.
  • UK: EU & non-EU students need to obtain a TIER-5 Visa to intern in the UK, a sponsoring entity called BUNAC can help with admin procedures.
  • USA: J1 Visa required to intern in the USA.
  • For USA & UK we organize workshops and recommend organisms that help with the visa procedures (MyInternshipAbroad or Stage Globale).
  • IUM doesn’t take care of visa applications for internships, we can provide and supporting document to visa applications.

JOIN THE ALUMNI
