At IUM, students actively contribute to the community through charity work in collaboration with Monegasque institutions.
IUM ENGAGE
Since 2022, IUM has been running IUM Engage, a program designed for first-year Bachelor students to encourage meaningful involvement in social and environmental causes. The goal is to raise awareness of global issues and inspire students to take action by collaborating with associations and institutions.
IUM Engage has empowered students to organize impactful events and initiatives, both within and beyond the university.
We believe education goes beyond the classroom. Through strategic partnerships, we provide students with opportunities to apply their knowledge, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial mindset to real-world challenges.
Epic Foundation partnership
We launched a partnership with Epic Foundation, an international non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and young people while protecting the planet.
After a workshop led by Jonathan Hude-Dufossé (Epic’s Director for France, Switzerland, and Monaco) and Celina Eudes (Epic’s representative in Monaco) on the principles of philanthropy and fundraising, students will collaborate to organize the IUM Charity Day on March 18th, aimed at raising funds for the NGO Friends International. Based in Cambodia, Friends International provides holistic support to vulnerable children and young people, helping them navigate the many challenges they face.
We chose to focus our impact on the causes we feel most strongly about: eradicating violence against children, fighting poverty, and creating a sustainable future through education and livelihoods.
