The International University of Monaco is proud to announce an outstanding achievement by our CFA Team, who secured 1st place in the CFA Regional Final.
This significant milestone highlights the hard work, dedication, and excellence of our students as they prepare to represent IUM at the highly competitive EMEA final stage of the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
CFA CHALLENGE
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a global competition that brings together university students to demonstrate their skills in financial analysis and equity research. Widely recognized as one of the most prestigious challenges in the finance industry, the competition provides participants with the opportunity to work on real-world projects, gain invaluable professional exposure, and present their findings to leading industry experts.
This year, three IUM teams took on the challenge of researching and analyzing Kering Group, a prominent French multinational in the luxury goods sector.
Over the course of several months, the students demonstrated their ability to apply academic knowledge to real-life financial scenarios, producing detailed reports and presenting their recommendations to a panel of industry professionals.
Their exceptional performance reflects the strength of IUM’s MSc in Finance program, which is designed to equip students with the analytical and practical skills required for successful careers in the finance industry.

After winning the Regional Final, Team Alpha is set to compete in the EMEA subregional stage against top university teams from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This next step will allow our students to further demonstrate their talent, represent IUM on a larger stage, and gain even greater exposure to the global finance industry.
